Merandia Reese, Residential Staff

Merandia graduated from Auburn University with degrees in Nutrition Dietetics and Psychology with a minor in Classic languages. She developed her relationship with the Lord after attending Church of the Highlands in Auburn, Alabama. Merandia feels called to teach people to be healthy mind, body, and spirit which brought her to Columbus Girls Academy. She found God had given her a heart for teenagers after working with the age group for five years as a gymnastics coach and she wanted an opportunity to bring hope to the hopeless. In her spare time Merandia enjoys reading, journaling, hiking, biking, strength training, rock climbing, and watching a good movie. Merandia believes that, “whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God…For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved.” – 1 Corinthians 10:31,33
